Nancy Endrinal Parreño graduated from the University of the Philippines with degrees in creative writing (B.A.) and social work, specializing in community organizing (M.A.). Her work is mainly focused women’s human rights in its various settings: abuse of women in intimate relationships, organizing and political participation, and disasters.

Rob is currently the Vice-President of BizFTC (Building Inclusive Zones for Farming Communities) Inc., a consulting and project management NGO. Rob is an experienced development professional with more than 28 years of experience gained from local and international development organizations like Institute for Studies in Asian Church and Culture (ISACC), ABS-CBN Foundation, Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), Oxfam GB.

Jeremias T. Leones is an Assistant Professor 7 of the U.P. College of Social Work and Community Development. He has a vast experience on social development particularly on agriculture and rural development, organizational development, training, project monitoring and impact evaluation, social work administration, development finance, and policy advocacy.

Benilda B. Tayag is an Associate Professor of Social Work of UP College of Social Work and Community Development. Her extensive experience in social development has made her a part of ADB’s deacon list of consultants. Her areas of expertise are in fields of Training Development and Management, Community organizing, Community Development, Organizational Development and Management.


Rosalie T. Quilicol is an Assistant Professor of Social Work who teaches human behaviour and social environment and generalist work practice. She has also been engaged in social development work in a government agency and non-government organizations dealing with the issues of urban poor and housing, mainstreaming technical and vocational education among the youth, poverty alleviation, child labour and anti-trafficking in women and children.
