Yolanda Germia Ealdama is an Associate Professor of Social Work, College of Social Work and Community Development, University of the Philippines. She is currently the Deputy Chairperson of the International Consortium on Social Development – Asia Pacific (ICSD-AP). She was Board Member at Large of the ICSD-AP from 2007 to 2010. She is a lifetime member of the International Association of Schools of Social Work in her individual capacity; and the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. She is a member of the following international associations: Asia and the Pacific Association of Social Work Educators (APASWE), Association of Women in Development (AWID), International Consortium on Social Development and Society of Gender Professionals. She is also a member of the National Association of Social Work Educators, Inc. (Philippines). She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Diploma in Women and Development from the University of the Philippines. She has a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University, The Netherlands. She has certificate courses related to social work and social development. She took courses in public administration and governance. As a social worker she has an extensive experience in development and humanitarian work and served as technical expert in different social welfare and development organizations.
