UP Tops Social Work Board Exams

Graduates from the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) have again led the successful examinees of the Social Worker Licensure Examination administered by the Board for Social Workers this September 2023.
Patricia Marie Regalado Imperial topped the examination with an 88.60% rating. Other UP CSWCD graduates who join Imperial in the top ten are the following: Quennie Anne Cabalfin Umadhay (Top 2 with 87.20%) and Maria Theresa Dacanay Lucas (Top 4 with 86.60%).
UPD has consistently maintained its 100% passing rate in the Social Worker Licensure Examination.

The Fe Parajas Israel Benito Scholarship Fund

The College of Social Work and Community Development is pleased to announce the establishment of the Fe Parajas Israel Benito Scholarship Fund! The scholarship aims to support undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Community Development (BSCD) and Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) students as they undergo their Field Instruction Program.

CSWCD would like to express our utmost gratitude to the people and offices behind the establishment of Fe Parajas Israel Benito Scholarship Fund. To Mr. Ted Benito and family, your donation will definitely go a long way for our future Social Workers and CD professionals; to Ms. Evelyn Andamo and Mr. Eric Panuncialman, officers of the UP Alumni Association of Greater Los Angeles (UPAAGLA); to Director Jette Nasol-Naval and our colleagues in the UP Office of Alumni Relations and Director Teresita Barrameda and the staff of the Office of Scholarship and Grants for all the coordination work that ably facilitated the approval of this Agreement.

The Fe Parajas Israel Benito Scholarship Fund is open to Bachelor of Science in Community Development (BSCD)/Bachelor of Science in Social Work students who are enrolled in Field Instruction courses.
