3K UP: Takbo para sa Kabataan, Kalikasan at Kinabukasan aims to generate scholarship funds for deserving Tatak CSWCD scholars. The event also aims to bring together the CSWCD Family and Friends (faculty, staff, students, alumni, retirees and partners) for a common cause as we prepare for CSWCD’s 50th year in 2017.
As part of our college week celebration, an online poll about the 2016 National Election is being initiated by the UP- College of Social Work and Community Development. It aims to know the preferences and perspectives of its academics, staff, alumni and current student about the upcoming election.
PJSD is a national refereed journal published by the College of Social Work and Community Development of the University of the Philippines Diliman. It provides a venue for the exchange of knowledge and views among professionals and academics engaged in social work, social welfare, gender issues/concerns, inclusive development, social policy advocacy, & social development.

A forum entitled, “Kaligtasan, Kabuhayan, Karapatan: Mga Batang Manggagawa sa Tubuhan” was held at the Bulwagang Tandang Sora, CSWCD on August 13, 2015. The University of the Philippines Social Action for Research and Development Foundation, Inc. (UPSARDFI) of the College of Social Work and Community Development, through the Research and Extension for Development Office, sponsored the event.
Sikhay Kilos Newsmagazine is the annual publication of the College of Social Work and Community Development in which various activities and milestones of each department are featured. It is being launched every Recognition Day and distributed for free.
The UP-CSWCD & REDO in partnership w/ Sikhay Kilos Development Association, Inc. conducted a 4 day training entitled, “Engaging in Advocacy Work: An Essential Skill for Social Development Practitioners” on April 21-24, 2015 at the CSWCD Seminar Room. The training aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes (KSA) of the participants in program and legislative advocacy particularly at the local level.
