Efren joined the college in August 2015 as senior lecturer. He finished his MA degree in London under the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship programme and obtained his Master’s degree in UP under the UP Presidential Scholarship grant. He teaches Community Education, Communication Strategies, Participatory Monitoring & Evaluation and Organizational Development courses at the Department of Community Development. His research interests are within the areas of adult and non-formal education, children & youth development, citizenship studies and social movement.
