MEMORANDUM NO. FRN-20-046

TO: ALL CONCERNED STUDENTS

SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF DEADLINE OF PAYMENT

In view of the pending results of the Student Learning Assistance System (SLAS) and Student Financial Assistance (SFA) applications, the deadline of payment of tuition and other school fees is hereby extended only for students with standing applications to SLAS and SFA. Students whose final application results are releasedwill be given one (1) week after such release to process their payment. Failure to process payment within this one (1) week period means students will have to follow the procedures for appeal for late payment below.

Procedures for Appeal for Late Payment:

1. Write a letter of appeal for late payment addressed to the Chancellor and

have it endorsed by your college.

2. Email yourlettertotheOUR(admin.our@upd.edu.ph) for verification and

notation.

3. The OUR forwards to the Chancellor all verified and noted appeals for late payment for final action.

4. The Chancellor gives his final action (approval/disapproval) on the appeals.

Important reminder: Students who are unable to pay the required tuition and other fees due to financial incapacity may apply for, and shall be granted, a loan from the Student Loan Board to complete the registration (Revised UP Code: Art. 330 p. 82, 790th BOR Meeting: 19 December 1969, 861st BOR Meeting: 29 May 1975, 1294th BOR Meeting: 16 December 2013).
