SUGILANON: Stories of Teachers of ALCADEV Through A Participatory Video

A training workshop on participatory video was conducted from 23 March – 5 April 2017 to the teachers of Alternative Learning Center for Agricultural and Livelihood Development (ALCADEV) In Tandag, Surigao del Sur. It aimed to introduce a new communication and visual format for teachers and Lumads alike to convey their advocacy.  The participatory video created an opportunity for ALCADEV teachers to contextualize their own stories and contributions within the community. This project also aimed to highlight the teachers’ needs in order to continue their noble cause.  REDO was able to conduct this project through the Extension Grant by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development (OVCRD). EBUyanguren, CFVallejos, and VRLopez were involved in this extension project.
