Ang ating pagdamay ay maaaring sa pamamagitan ng pag-volunteer sa repacking ng hygiene kits na pangangasiwaan ng Oxfam (isang International NGO) simula Huwebes, ika- 22 Disyembre 2011 sa CSWCD, Magsaysay Ave, UP Campus, Diliman.

Three university units, College of Social Work and Community Development, College of Social Sciences and Philosophy and the University Center for Women’s Studies pooled their resources together and co-sponsored the two-day “Flood Incident Response Safety Training (FIRST) ” from December 12-13, 2011 at the CSWCD Seminar Room. \Around 20 participants from these entities attended the activity.
In celebration of Human Rights Day, the College of Social Work and Community Development conducted a forum on Human Rights in the Philippines last December 7, 2011. It was held at the Bulwagang Tandang Sora from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon.
The CSWCD, under the leadership of Dean Rosalinda Pineda-Ofreneo, conducted a 3-day strategic planning for the next 2 years last 25th to 27th of November 2011. It has successfully fulfilled the objectives of reviewing the 2010 to 2011 strategic plans and formulating the operational plan of the College for 2012 to 2013.
