“Rooted to the Land – Strengthening Indigenous People’s Community Processes” is the first edition of the CD Research Monograph Series.  It includes recent researches cultural traditions and processes in the context of pro-poor development agenda among the Iraya Mangyans of Mindoro, Aeta Mag-antsi of Central Luzon and Western Subanons of Zamboanga.  These studies speak of their cultural roots, their shared experiences and their hopes as indigenous peoples.  Their stories also provide glimpses of their arduous journey towards a better future amidst the challenges of modernization and progress dominated by lowland cultural norms.
