CD Research Monograph 2 (2010) Building Children’s Spaces Reflections on Children Organizing for Peace and Development

by Ma. Theresa V. Tungpalan, Wildredo P. Awitan

This compilation of four articles is the second in the series of Community Development Research Monographs which the Department of Community Development wishes to share based on academic, research and extension work of its faculty and students. These articles show how community development methodologies and approaches can be applied in different contexts but still anchored to its basic principles of empowerment, gender-fairness, participatory processes, social justice and transformation. Building children’s spaces becomes crucial for children to interact freely with other children, to build dreams, and to advocate, and engage in child-centered developments efforts.
