Rainier V. Almazan

is an Assistant Professor of Social Work who teaches community organizing, social policy and administration and social research. He has also been engaged in social development as peasant and trade union organizer, trainer, advocate, researcher and administrator of non-government, non-profit organisations. His areas of interest are social development management, organizational development & planning, trade unionism & industrial relations, agrarian & agricultural development, micro-insurance & social protection.
